The Turning Point

Earth
"After a time of decay comes the turning point...the powerful light that has been banished returns.  This is movement, but it is not brought about by force.  The movement is natural, arising spontaneously.  For this reason the transformation of the old becomes easy.  The old is discarded and the new is introduced.  Both measures in accord with the time, therefore no harm results." -- I Ching

Today, let go and trust.  Occupy the truth of who you are.  The Turning Point, a book written by one of my favorite authors, Fritjof Capra -- is about a paradigm shift of one's reality. What once was is no longer.

It is an awareness through one's entire being that a transformation has occurred in how one responds to life's opportunities and challenges.

I teach Nia (www.nianow.com).  Nia is transformative movement.  Nia has 52 Moves (27 Base moves having to do with the feet and legs; 18 Upper Extremeties moves of the arms, hands and fingers and 7 Core movements involving the pelvis, chest and head. Since it's the Season of the Witch (Halloween), I thought one of the Upper Extremeties moves might be appropriate!

Wiggle all of 8 of your fingers, including your 2 thumbs -- this is called Creepy Crawlers!! Keep your elbows bent and occasionally change the positions of your palms to keep your shoulders and neck relaxed.  As you do Creepy Crawlers, be playful and mischievious...and of course laugh!

Transformative movement...
